TRUTH IN JUSTICE REPLIES

Hi, Irma. I read your reply. It reflects the situation in 1998-99. John and his family believed Sandy's death and the fire were accidental, but every time they raised the issue, his lawyer pitched a fit and threatened to quit. Of course, he should have fired him. But he'd already paid him over $100,000, the family had no other resources left, so he figured he'd never get another lawyer. This is a guy who was a police officer for almost 20 years. He'd never been on the wrong side ofthe law, never even investigated a murder himself.
