Aunt Anne's passing

My Aunt Anne died two days ago in Vancouver, British Columbia. I live in California. She is my Mom's sister. I don't remember being on earth without her and since she died at the age of 90 years old, that is more than true. As much as it grieved me, I helped her move on, or at least had the opportunity to talk with her about it spiritually, when she was sick and in the hospital. I left my body and went to her room. She was lying on her back. I held her hand and saw her face clearly. I felt she knew I was there. Days before that I sent a lot of spirits to her hospital bed to comfort her. I didn't want her to die, and wanted her to want to live too. She told her family that she wanted to live. The next day, while walking around my house, I felt her presence. She asked me what I would do about living, if I were her. I told her that I would not want to go back to the nursing home, where she lived. My aunt lived there for many years unable to see any more, broken hips twice, landing her the last time in a wheel chair. I knew that I did not want her back in that condition with the staff treating the elderly like they did not have feelings. I told her that it was time to move on. It was easy to say that when she was with me and her body was still on earth. It was very hard after she died to know that she had to leave us, even at the age of 90 years old. After she died, she came to me and said that I helped her move on and was saddened at first, but knew it could not be any other way. I got her help on the other side and know, from what she told me, that she is doing well, and will continue coming to see me, letting me know if she needs further help. I don't feel she will need more help and will do fine. No matter what happens we all feel her loss though.
My Mother, Sophie's family was a large one. My Grandmother, bless her, had nine children. They were all close in age. When my Mother died many years ago, my aunt told me that my she felt she lost a mother because that was the relationship they had. My Mother was only two years older than my aunt, and the fourth child, and the first female born. She took over all the responsibilities for child care at a very early age.
What amazes me is that while we are living our life, and counting our own birthdays, those who we don't see that often stay young in our minds. Even talking to my aunt on the phone and hearing her voice, I could not, or did not want to, picture her any other way than young.
Now she is on her new journey and I am grateful for it, because she is out of pain and into happiness. She, as others, will always remain in my heart.

your stories for my new book

I am planning my next book and would love for you to be part of it.
As you know I meet a lot of people who tell me stories about their paranormal experiences. I would like to hear your story and put it in my book.
Also include what this experience taught you, did it change your life in any way, and if so how. And sign it as you would like to see it in the book, for instance: Irma, from Livermore, CA.
Please send your story to me at this address: irmaslage@gmail.com. If you know of anyone who has had experiences and would like to be part of my book, please have them forward their story at the same email address.
After receiving your story, I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Thank you.
Irma

Thoughts of my book, Phases of life after Death from a reader.

Debbie is someone who has been a friend of mine since 7th grade. We have remained friends and although we live 3000 miles apart find we have lots in common and enjoy our friendship and keeping in touch. This is what she wrote to me about my book and has given me permission to put it on my blog using her name.
"You mention people on the other side getting the job of spirit guide, to look after people they are assigned to. I have heard of this in other books.. Sylvia Brown, and I think Ruth Montgomery. Back when I was studying Jung, I learned about the psychopomp. That is Greek for Spirit Guide. There is mention of this in many places, in psychology, parapsychology, myth and literature.. Virgil and Beatrice acted as psychopomps to Dante in The Divine Comedy, leading him through Hell, Purgatory and Paradise.. You also mention people who have Alzheimer's spending most of their time out of body in the astral world. I have heard of this elsewhere as well. I have also heard that people sometimes leave their body while sleeping to go and communicate with folks in the astral world. If you suddenly feel a dropping sensation on waking, that is your coming back after an out of body experience.... Also, I have read elsewhere about kids not being able to see folks from the astral world after two years of age. I thought that it was because of their distance from their previous life in the astral world, but I guess it makes sense that it keeps them from communicating about it when they can speak clearly... Anyway, your writing is very much confirmed by other literature out there. You have mentioned in your book that people experience a life review after getting to the other side; that is commonly reported by people having near death experiences (NDEs)"

comfort through out your days on earth

I thought the prologue from the spirit world from my book, Phases of Life After Death, may bring a feeling of peace.
PROLOGUE FROM THE SPIRIT WORLD
We live in a world different from yours. We are all one, but yet we can see you and except for a handful of people per thousand we remain a mystery. When we wrote the stories you will read, you will find them written with kindness, and love, and understanding toward those who have these memories within their minds, but cannot tap into them. This is to give you these memories and to assure you that they, and we, exist.
We want you to read our experiences knowing that although you can't see us we are nonetheless with you. We experience all that you do. We feel all that you do, and we never stop visiting those that mean the most to us on earth. That includes sisters, brothers, parents, strangers who may have helped us along the way, or others that we know need our help. We are helpful to those we can help, and we are comforting to those we are unable to help.
We never lose our way to you. We are always included in your life. We know of your weddings, your births, your disasters, and yes, your deaths. We are included in your world because it is only our bodies that have left. Our body rests in it's own resting place, we rest in ours, with you, and never apart.
When you read these accounts as each of us portray them, one by one, chapter by chapter, we are trying to fulfill a need we have, and that is to allow you to visit our world as we visit yours everyday.
Read on while we are with you and give you support in your conquest of life, both on earth and from where I speak.
